Registrations are now Open for the Winter 2021 Competition
Team Registrations Close on Friday, February 26, 2021
The Winter Season will run from the start of Term 2 (19 Apr 2021) to the end of Term 3 2021 (18 Sep 2021). All games are played at the Hills Sports Stadium (Fred Caterson Reserve) in Castle Hill. All parents are expected to help with Bench Duty (scoring) each week. All teams must have a Team Manager, and preferably, a Coach. Adult supervision is required at ALL games.
The TEAM fee is $1428 for Juniors (U18 and below).
The TEAM fee is $1680 for Seniors (U22 and above).
This fee is divided amongst the players on the team as follows.
Team Fees must be paid in full by the due date. Failure to pay by this date may result in team forfeiture.
Team Fees cover Team Registration, Court Fees, Uniform Hire and a Fund Raising Levy for the school.
The preferred method of payment for the Club Fees is via Credit Card (Mastercard or VISA only) or by Direct Deposit into the clubs bank account. Further details can be found on the Payment page.
If a team withdraws from the competition after it has been registered, all penalty costs may be recouped from the team members that withdrew.
Please note that Active Kids vouchers cannot be used for these fees.
The team fees DO NOT cover Player Registration, which is a Basketball NSW fee for player insurance. This is payable to the Hills Stadium directly (via their website). This is a yearly fee, so it covers 2 seasons. The cost is $115 for junior players (up to U18), and $130 for senior players (U22 and above).
Please note that you can use your Active Kids voucher for this payment, provided you pay on line at the Hills Hornets website.
The following table shows the day each of the various age groups play, and the year you must be born in to qualify for those age groups.
